He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Irene Kerkove; and his daughter Nita Geerts. He is survived by: his wife Rose of North Washington; his children, David Kerkove (Toni) of New Hampton and Linda Burrichter (Al) of New Hampton; his grandchildren, Cody Kerkove (Karla) of Maxwell, Eric Kerkove (Nanami) of Spokane, Scott Lufkin (Kendra) of Gruny Center, Brad Lufkin (Jill) of Okoboji, Adam Geerts (Brenda) of New Hampton and Lacy Carolan of New Hampton; and his son-in-law Steve Geerts of New Hampton. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
