He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ruth and Emilie Ruth (Cox); his stepfather Ralph Young; and his brother Dick Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Karen Eldeen of North Liberty; his children, Elizabeth Colón (Dan) of Vancouver, WA, Molissa Koch (Logan) of North Liberty and Cody Ruth (Augwenda Papich) of North Liberty; his grandchildren, Louden, Layne and Maisie; and his siblings, Darlene Barney, Pat Ruth, Judy Dailing (Rob), Gerri Turecek (Joe), Colleen Rempe (Scott Ham), Mary Wells (Rick) and Joe Ruth. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
