He is survived by: his children, Vickie Matheny (Steve), Khris Hayward (Jason), Alice Puetz (Chuck) of Maquoketa and Mark Risden (Crystal) of Cedar Rapids; his grandson Vinnie V. Risden; his stepchildren, David Gaule of Iowa City, KaLynn Kula (Jason) of Central City, Kathy Stratton (Tom) of Cedar Rapids and Karen Gaule (Matt Swift) of North Liberty; and his brother Gerald Risden (Kaye) of Gilbert. He is also survived by grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
