He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Floyd, Ruth Garrett, Norma Garrett and Effie McCleary; and his aunts, Karen Everhart, Linda Lindle, Jane McCleary and Barb Miller.
He is survived by: his parents, Jerry McCleary and Diane Garrett McCleary of Muscatine; his brother Eric McCleary of Muscatine; his grandparents, Howard (Pete) and Bea McCleary; and his pet Koya. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorials may be made to an animal shelter of donor's choice.
