It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Conner of North Liberty, Iowa, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald Conner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford "Pete" Conner and Mabel Conner (Oliver); his daughter Carole; his former wife Carole Rubenbauer; his siblings, Billy Conner and Sharon Kimberlin; his mother-in-law Norma Rubenbauer; and his pets, Shamie and Java.
He is survived by: his wife Terry Conner; his children, April Eich (Chad), Jonathan Conner (Sarah) and Joel Conner (Tricia); his stepson Sean Dervrich (Casey); his grandchildren, Austen, Lyla Eich, Kennedy, Reagan Conner, Theo, Ivy Conner and Rhys Dervrich; his sister Melody Conner; his sisters-in-law, Ardelle Conner, Sister Suzanne Rubenbauer and Mary Baumhover (Roger); his mother-in-law Theresa Gavaghan; and his brother-in-law James Gavaghan (Lori). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service- Iowa City (605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City, IA 52244-0167). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (3000 12th Ave, Coralville, IA 52241).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Iowa City Hospice, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, or The Regina Foundation.
