He was predeceased by: his former wife Jean. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his sons, John (Joanne) and Larry (Remi); his stepchildren, Kevin, Bruce, Pamela, Melinda and James; and his siblings, Joanne Lipinski and Jerry Kaye. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
