We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2018, at the age of 45, Michele Roof Covarrubias (North Liberty, Iowa), born in Iowa City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sons, Cristian Covarrubias and Ian Covarrubias; her parents, Keith Roof of North Liberty and JoDee Roof of North Liberty; her brother Pat Roof; and also, Suzie Roof, Marleigh Roof of Marion and Juan Covarrubias of Coralville. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for her sons, Cristian and Ian.
