She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Heinrich Imhof and Johannna Imhof (Gackle); her brothers, Karl and Heinrich Imhof; her husband Hubert Esser; her grandmothers, Teacher and Liberty (Cassidy); her grandson Atticus; her grandmother Caroline; her children, Susanne Marier (Thomas), Hubert Esser (Eriko) and Marianne Hartman (Mike); her grandchildren, Robert Marier (Brooke) and Hannah Marier; her children, Adina (Braden), Monika, Ken Esser, Caroline (Dillon), Gabrielle, Cassidy and Atticus Hartman; her extended family, Thomas Alles, Peter, Klaus Imhof and Ulrike Esser-Schoch; and her close friends, Brenda Spencer, Diana Swanson, Waltraud Martens, Barbara, Reiner Arschel and Marilyn Jensen.
