He was predeceased by: his parents, Erma Kasparek and Ben Deseldo; his brother Kenny Kasparek; and his parents-in-law, Herb and Daisy Green.

He is survived by: his close friend Susan Barkalow; his children, Michelle Presiner (North Carolina) and Chad Barkalow (Allison); his grandchildren, Zoe, Annabella and Maddie (England); his children, Johanna and Parker; and his godsons, Terry (Trish), Breese (Colorado) and Chewie.
