It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Tichy of North Liberty, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Tichy and Monica Tichy (Miller); and his brother-in-law Gary Bean. He is survived by: his close friend Cheri Young; his children, Darren Tichy and Courtney Packingham (Kurt); his grandchildren, Kohl, Dane, Garet, Logan, Tailyn and Emma; and his sisters, Joyce Ludvicek (Ernie) and Judi Bean.
