He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Winegarden and Helen Winegarden (Warner); his siblings, Jean Montross, Leland Winegarden and Stanley; and his sister-in-law Norma Jean Winegarden.
He is survived by: his wife L. Jeanette Woodcock of North Liberty; his children, Van Winegarden of North Liberty and Ann Muilenburg (Greg) of Iowa City; his granddaughters, Lora Hesseltine and Marta Muilenburg; his great grandchild Benjamin Hesseltine; his nieces and nephews, David Winegarden, John Winegarden, William Montross, Marsha Reitzler, Jennifer Rugg, Helen Montross, Mary Montross and Rita Thomas; and his sister-in-law Lois Winegarden.
