He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Charbon and Louise Charbon (Herr); his son Gale; and his brothers-in-law, Omer Fountain and Larry Sexton.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J.; his children, Eugene Charbon (Marcia) and Elaine Rayner (Randy); his daughter-in-law Cindy Charbon; his grandchildren, Mike Charbon (Sarah) of Andrew, Jill Zieser (David), Dawn Davies (Jeremy), Amanda Crane (Sean), Ryan Charbon (Krystal), Gina Zelle (Tara Zelle) and Quinn Rayner (Kiersten Jensen); and his sisters, Ruth Fountain and Carol Foster (Lee).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to Tiffin United Methodist Church or the North Liberty Optimist Club, both of which were very dear to his heart.
