He is survived by: his son Preston Echols; his wife Mindy Echols (Kimm-Pedersen); his stepchildren, Annabelle Pedersen and Reeve Pedersen; his parents, James Echols (Elaine) and Deborah Dies (Robert); his siblings, Josh Gerber (Jessica), Kelly Kawczk (Aaron) and Nick Gerber (Kaitlyn); and his grandmother Helen Dittmer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
