He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Joseph and Hazel Elizabeth Campbell (Riley); and his siblings, Michael, Pat, John (Bud), William, Thomas, James Campbell, Hazel Mae Burke, Kate Mohwinkle, Margaret Corneliuson, Mary "Sis" Goltz and Essie Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Campbell (Shari); his grandson Nick Campbell; his sons, Joby Campbell and Jeff Campbell; his grandsons, Michael Campbell and John Campbell; his siblings, Barbara Magner and Paul Campbell; and his sisters-in-law, Maxine Campbell, Arlene Rooney, Sandra Bauer (Tom), Shiela Petersen, Sharece Klimek (Bill), Sharla Ries (Linn), Suzanne Anderson (Randy) and Shalain Sisco (Mark).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Iowa City Hospice or Saint Thomas More Catholic Church of Coralville.
