She was predeceased by: her parents, William K. Stevenson and Harriett Stevenson; her parents-in-law, Dennis and Mary Johnson; her sister-in-law Gloria Jones; her nephew Jason Jones; and her pet Liberty.
She is survived by: her husband Jann Johnson; her daughters, Jenna Laine (Eric) and Jayme Johnson Strike (Aaron); her granddaughters, Lillian, Amelia and Eleanor; her brothers, John (Judi), Frank and Keith (Brenda); and her pets, Milo and Pixie. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of North Liberty (85 N Jones Blvd, North Liberty, IA 52317).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for Carol Johnson has been established to support Newborn Screening Education, the Iowa Farm Sanctuary and an education fund for her granddaughters.
