He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Osweiler; his children, Bonnie Hackert (Dave) of Sigourney, Robin Kolosik (Carrie) of Swisher and Shawn Kolosik (Dawn) of Walford; his stepsons, Doug Flanders (Debi) of Sigourney and Jerry Flanders (Janice) of Des Moines; and his siblings, Lynn Kolosik (Norma) of North English and Frances Christian of Arizona. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
