It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Bruce Gilmore of North English, Iowa, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gilmore and Edna Gilmore (King); his wives, Alice Werner and Sandra Clawson (Finch); and his sister-in-law Ethel Gilmore.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Gilmore (Melinda) of Hanibal, MO; his granddaughter Paige Peer of Des Moines; his stepchildren, Joe Clawson (Cathy) of Sigourney, Tammy Appleget of Oskaloosa and Tom Clawson of Oskaloosa; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Clawson and Megan Horn (Braden); his great grandchild Lucy Horn of Sigourney; his brothers, Robert Dean Gilmore of Natchez and Delbert Gilmore (Marilyn) of Iowa City; and his pet Spook.
Memorials may be given to the North English Christian Church.
