He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Axmear and Alma Axmear (Himler); his wife Mildred "Millie" Esther Tanke; his children, Laura, Duane and Ronald; and his sisters, Ruth Snakenberg and Lucille Axmear.
He is survived by: his son David Axmear (Lisa) of North English; his grandchildren, Joseph Axmear (Jesse), Lindsay Axmear and Aimee Van Der (Cody); his great grandchild Oliver Mullnix; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Justice Schmidt, Olivia, Cooper and Sidney Van Der Molen.
