With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mathew Strang of North English, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Mathew departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mathew. Though Mathew may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father James Beecher Strang. He is survived by: his mother Jacqulyn Joan Strang Pyle (Parker); his close friend Jill Williams of North English; his stepfather Eldon Pyle of Clear Lake; and his sisters, Sara Steinwurtzel (Rob) of Bethesda, Sally Strang-Halvorson of Tiffin and Beth Strike (Darrin) of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home (221 N Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662).
