She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Robert and Dorothy Merck (Jordan); her husband William Robert Brown; her son Bruce; and her brothers, Arthur and Eugene Merck.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Koehn (Kevin) of North English and Donna Gorsch (Mick) of Millersburg; her grandchildren, Shara Axmear (Scott), Caleb Koehn (Erin), Jeremy Koehn (Amanda), Amelia Koehn, Maria Wagner (Mark), Derek Gorsch (Adrienne) and Robby Gorsch (Brier); her siblings, LaVerne Merck of Rochester, MN and Vivian Kerns of Grimes; and her sisters-in-law, Ellen Merck of Grinnell, Katie Brown of Victor and Marg McAdam (Ed) of Victor. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Community Church or Compass Memorial Hospital.
