He is survived by: his children, Donald, Vickie Parsons of Belle Plaine, Judie, Gordon Russell of Oxford, Jeffery and Kathleen Schakel of Cedar Rapids; and his grandchildren, Adam, Jodi Parsons, Krista, Jeremey White, Gordon Russell III, Amy, Jon Burg, Tyler Russell, Justin, Sonja Parsons, Mary, Philip DeJarnatt, Spring, Matt Hudson and Mollie Kathleen Schakel. He is also survived by twenty two great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.
