He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Milford and Geneva Mae Allison (Lane); his son Denny Allison; his brother Jimmy Allison; his brother-in-law Gene Cobb; his cousin Melvin Allison; and his pet Sammie.
He is survived by: his former wife Kay Gerard; his wife Mary Ellen Bergmann of North English; his daughters, Susie Lundberg of Iowa City, Nancy Combs (Dennis) of Newton and Debbie Allison-Potts of North English; his stepchildren, Rebecca, Denise, Darlene, Jeffrey, Norm Jr. and Larry; his sister Martha Cobb; his son Mark Allison (Renee) of North English; and his pet Sallie. He is also survived by ten step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren.
The family encourages attendees to wear a mask or face covering.
Memorials may be given to the English Valley History Center.
