She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Young and Florence Amelia Young (Taminosian); her daughter Sally Bucher Chittick Long; and her brother Robert Young. She is survived by: her husband Russell Dean Bucher of North English; her children, Deb Anderson (Mark) of West Branch and Michael Bucher of South English; her grandchildren, Kristin McElhinney (Marshall), Kyle Anderson, Trina Hilligas (Shawn), Keith Reed (Alicia), Russ Chittick (Lydia), Matt Chittick (Lindsey) and Brooke Dulaney (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Sienna McElhinney, Sadie McElhinney, Talon Hilligas, Wyatt Hilligas, Luna Reed, Robby Chittick, Emily Chittick, Mackenzie Dulaney and Allison Dulaney.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home-North English (116 W Broad St, North English, IA 52316). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in Helen's honor to the North English History Center, English Valleys Community Scholarship Foundation or donor's choice.
