He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Burdick. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn June Burdick (Vachet); his wife Carrie Anne Shinkle; his children, Keegan of North English and Davis of North English; his sister Kelly Burdick of Cedar Falls; his uncles, Bob Vachet of Crystal Falls and Marty Burdick of Waterloo; his parents-in-law, Paul and Gale Shinkle of Cedar Falls; and his sister-in-law Marie Shinkle of Iowa City.
