She was predeceased by: her parents, James Charles and Leola Emily Hotka (Davis); and her husband Robert R. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Louise Avery of North English, Jim (JoAnn) of North English, Lorrie of North English, Kevin of North English, Bonnie Miller (Bill) of What Cheer, David (Chris) of Tiffin and Brenda Smith-Custer of Overland Park, Kansas.; and her pet Susie. She is also survived by her children, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Safe Haven of Iowa County or the English Valleys Citizen's Scholarship Fund.
