With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou McCallister (North English, Iowa), who passed away on September 4, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold H. Fruendt and Marie Fruendt (Kuesel); her husband Larry Wayne McCallister; and her siblings, Gloria and Richard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Annette Shannahan (Mark) of Parnell, Shari Bruck (Jeff) of Denison and Bonnie Schlak (David) of Marengo; her grandchildren, Chris Spicer, Kailey, Leah, Megan Shannahan, Madison, Katelyn, Jacob Bruck, Kyle and Grace Schlak; her brothers, Keith Fruendt (Joyce) of Colorado and Allen Fruendt (Ann) of Michigan; and her sister-in-law Judy Tinnes (Jim) of Webster. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Essence of Life Hospice or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
