He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Kirchgatter and Marilyn Kirchgatter (Aase); and his pet Klyde. He is survived by: his son Kyle Kirchgatter of Nora Springs; his sister Sue Paulson (Dennis) of Rock Falls; his close friends, Annette Allee and Sam Hughes of Nora Springs; and his nieces, Bobbi Sue Bacon and Nichole Simon.
