It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Eugene Jorgensen (Nora Springs, Iowa), who passed away on June 20, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Margaret; his brother James; and his brothers-in-law, John Gabel and Charles Briggs.
He is survived by: his wife Gila; his children, Sandra Haller, Kathleen Smith (Rockford) and James Jorgensen (Rudd); his grandchildren, Ashley Prough (Adam) of Manhattan, KS, Kylee Smith, Rockford, Patrick Haller of Grand Junction, CO, Jamie Haller, Jayden Jorgensen, Rudd, Rachel Smith and Clear Lake; his stepgrandsons, Justin Swant (Ashley Connerly) and Nicholas Swant; his great grandchildren, Kamden, Berkley Smith, Elliott and Smith Prough; his stepgreat-granddaughter Keely Chambers; his siblings, Doris Briggs of North Port, FL and Harold Jorgensen (Marilyn); and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Gabel and Patrice Gabel of Brookings, SD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
