With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois M. Van Ness of Nora Springs, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Yearington and Dorothy Yearington (Turnahan); her husband Paul C. Van Ness Jr. of Omaha, NE.; her brothers, Bill and Ed Yearington; and her nephews, KJ Knight, Tony Van Ness and Donald Stanger III.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Scott Van Ness (Maria) of Mineral Wells, TX, Philip Van Ness of Northwood, Sharlisa Ciavarelli (Alan) of Plymouth, Suzanne Boyd (Tyler) of Weatherford, TX and Sarah Clark of Nora Springs; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Hopkins of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed in care of her family.
