He was predeceased by: his grandmother Josie; his son David; his parents, Leonard Arthur Ranney and Gretchen Elizabeth Boice Ranney; his sister Dorothy Putney (Richard); his parents-in-law, Edward and Audrey Hewitt; and his brother-in-law Dennis Hewitt.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hewitt of Nashua's Little Brown Church; his friend Kenneth; his granddaughter Erin; his great grandchildren, Addyson and Brooke; his daughters, Susan Pyle, Cheryl Trappe, Sarah Bruce (Russ) and Charlotte Ranney (Mick Wells); and his daughter-in-law Adrienne Ranney.
