She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Stander and Ruth Stander (Volkmer); her husband Ron of Mary's Catholic Church; her daughter Barbara Kay; and her siblings, Carol Wells and Frank Stander (Carol).
She is survived by: her children, Larry Muff of New Richland, MN, Lori Mestad (Steve) of Grimes, Brenda Wicks (Peter) of Adel, Marlene Hestness (Craig) of Mason City, Nancy Ortega (David) of Altoona, Karen Forthmann (Michael) of Mason City and Cindy Clefisch (Mitch) of Polk City; and her siblings, Mary McFerrin of Longmont, CO, Chuck Stander and Steve Stander (Pat). She is also survived by grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Epiphany Parish, Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank or KCMR in Kathy's honor.
