He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Thompson (Grant) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Angie Hinderaker (Tom) of Story City, Iowa and William Schaper (Melyssa) of Mason City; his grandchild Whitney Thompson (Will Kelly) of Madison, Wisconsin; his children, Claire Wilson (Barkley) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, MacKenzie, Kameryn Nolte of Mason City and Mae Hinderaker of Story City; his sisters-in-law, Mary Wright of Rochester and Hilda Schaper of Dobbeln, Germany; and his nieces and nephews, Shelly Keller, Barbel Buder, Brunhilda Rothkopf, Tom Wright, Terry Wright, Michael Schaper and Stephan Schaper.
