He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hinrichsen and Betty Hinrichsen (Ravenstad); his brothers-in-law, Allen Pals and Tony Severe; and also, Truman and Frances Motland.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Motland; his sons, Scott Hinrichsen (Kim) and Shawn Hinrichsen (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Kyle (Danielle), Kayla Dahl (Aaron), Kole, Abby and Blake; his great grandchild Hinrich Dahl; and his sisters, Laurie Severe and Linda Ombrello (Alan). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great friends.
If friends desire, memorials may be directed towards the Nora Springs Ambulance or the Nora Springs Fire Department.
