Eugene A. Pfertzel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene A. Pfertzel (Nora Springs, Iowa), who passed away on May 1, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Pfertzel and Augusta Pfertzel (Hank); and his son-in-law Henry Scurry. He is survived by: his wife Gladys (Hogan); his children, Bonnie Scurry of Richfield, MN and Richard Pfertzel (Diane) of Dumont, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jena Lee Scurry, Logan Pfertzel, Ellie Carlson and Alona Pfertzel; and his great grandchildren, Emilie, Remington and Skyler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will hold a celebration of Eugene's life at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family and a charity will be established at a later date.
