It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Schwade of Nora Springs, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schwade and Eleanor Schwade (Baack); and his sister-in-law Lois Schwade. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Sheriff (Bob) of Belmond, Gene Schwade of Mason City and Gerald Schwade (Kathy) of Nora Springs; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Sheriff, John Sheriff (Devna), Jessica VanVark (Brad), Justin Schwade and Jeremy Schwade (Robin Ames).
Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2021.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family and a charity will be established at a later date.
