With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allan Duane Fingalsen of Nora Springs, Iowa, who passed away on September 3, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Wilmer" and Anna Fingalsen (Rethamel); his wife Elizabeth Young; his son Scott Fingalsen; and his brothers, Virgil, Ellsworth and Elmer.
He is survived by: his daughter Dianne Christiansen (Jay) of Nora Springs; his grandchildren, Kylee Bengtson (Chuck) of Nora Springs, Bailey Anderegg (John) of Mason City and Seth Fingalsen (Ashley) of Adrian, MO; his great grandchildren, Izzy, Grace, Wyatt, Kinsey, Sawyer, Murphy and Ila; his close friend Sharon Dodge of Mason City; and his sister Shirley Manning of Fort Smith, AR. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of customary remembrances, family suggests memorial contributions to MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City or the American Legion H.D.S. Post 449 in Nora Springs.
