We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2018, at the age of 71, Richard Raymond Hillyer (Nichols, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Lester and Alice Mae Hillyer (Tomfeld). He is survived by: his spouse Carla Harbit; his children, Robert Hillyer (Shari) of Nichols, Jennifer Alford (Hillyer) and Tim of Coppell; his brothers, David Hillyer (Jean) of Double Oak and Tom Hillyer (Marla) of West Liberty; his grandchildren, Matthew Hillyer, Chelsey Messer, Alice Mae Alford and Catherine Alford; his stepgrandsons, Jared Hudson and Jeff Hudson; and his great grandchildren, Sierra Gier and Kylie Gier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
