Marcella I. Barnhart Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2020, at the age of 96, Marcella I. Barnhart (Nichols, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandson Kyle; her parents, John Theodore (J. T.) and Grace Neff (Green); her spouse Marion Leroy Barnhart; her children, Marianne Phelps (Dean) of Nichols, Kay Rewerts (Steve) of Waterloo, Wendy Beaver (Tom) of Coralville and Keith Barnhart (Margaret) of Atalissa; her grandchildren, Doug Phelps (Pam), Mike Phelps, Marla Matlock (Aaron), Scott Barnhart, Melissa Barnhart (Brian Giordano), Susan Relland (Wes Howland), Mary Watson (Bryce), Greg Beaver and Marc Beaver; her great grandchildren, Tanner (Samantha), Payton, Drew, Ethan, KayAnne, Briana, Denton, Celia, Ayla, Lily and Ryan; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Brayton, Ethan and Kinsey; and her siblings, Ortha Neff of Iowa City, Duane, Ralph, Merton, Marie and Theodora.

In lieu of flowers or other forms of condolences the family wishes memorials in Marcella's name be made to: Nichols United Methodist Church or Iowa City Hospice.
