He is survived by: his wife Carol of Nichols; his children, Kory Kaalberg (Chris) of Nichols, Kyle Kaalberg of Henderson and Katina Kaalberg (Christopher Bowron) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Kathryn Kaalberg (Kyle Scanlon), Kayla Becker (Brett), Colton Kaalberg (Vivian Urmie), Saoirse Bowron, Keva Bowron, Teagan Bowron, Caden Kaalberg and Clayton Kaalberg; and his great grandchildren, Quinn Becker, Brynn Becker and Wrenley Kaalberg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be directed to St. Mary's Church, Nichols or to Nichols Fire and Rescue in memory of Gayle.
