Douglas Green Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Green of Nichols, Iowa, who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Green and Rebecca Green (Schreiber); his nephew Michael Eugene Schaffer Jr.; and his niece Dairy Rose Schaffer. He is survived by: his wife Kari Elizabeth Sandburg of Nichols; his children, Kalyn Probst (Ben) of West Liberty, Dylan Green (Kelsie Stoddard) of Cedar Rapids and Dalton Green of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Kinsley and Eliza Probst; and his siblings, Phillip Green of Coralville and Deborah Schaffer (Michael) of West Liberty. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Soldiers for Christ or the Good Neighborhood Fellowship in Keota in memory of Doug.
