With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Holcomb of Nichols, Iowa, who passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Joe" Benton and Ramona Marie Holcomb (Mills); his uncle Timothy D. Mills; and his aunts, Delpha Wagner and Christine M. Mills.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Thomas Holcomb of Nichols and Jane Marie Holcomb of Nichols; his foster sister Patricia Green (John) of Muscatine; his nieces and nephews, Hope DeVore (Lonnie), Nicole Furlow (Brian), Greg Green (Angie), Matt Green (Kim), Joe Ryan (Lisa) and Regina Askam (Brad); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lane DeVore, Layton DeVore of Lowden DeVore, J. T, Parker Green, Ethan Green, Gavin Green, Logan Ryan, Alyssa Ryan, Ryan Askam, Kiersten Askam, Janice Furlow and Ramona Marie Furlow; and his aunts and uncles, Frank Holcomb (Yvonne) of Lone Tree, Virgil C. Mills (Debra) of West Branch, Michael G. Mills (Nancy) of Nichols, Judith A. Bender of Kalona and Nancy K. Burr (Alan) of Lone Tree.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Nichols United Methodist Church in memory of Alan.
