He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wilgenbusch and Florence Wilgenbusch (Lippold); and his nephew Tim Pettiecord. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Wilgenbusch of Newton; his son Richard Wilgenbusch (Alison Grier) of Newton; and his siblings, Lou Wilgenbusch (Patty) of St. Charles, Patty Wadle (Larry) of St. Charles and Peg Pettiecord of Des Moines. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be used to establish a memorial in Newton.
