We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 78, William Sherman McLead of Newton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery McLead and Beatrice Arlou McLead (Page); and his siblings, Lewis McLead (Mary) and Marlene Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Marleana McLead of Newton; his children, Bill McLead (Jennifer) of Oklahoma and Christina Brown (Shawn) of Bellevue, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Kaytlyn Brown, Matthew McLead, Adrianna Atkins, Tia Brown and Jacob Atkins (Megan); his great grandchildren, Kyson and Starr; and also Lucy.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539).
