She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Rothfus and Helen Rothfus (Mott); her husband Werner Bunse; her sister Martha; her brother-in-law Worth Overton; her brother Robert Rothfus; her siblings-in-law, Jean Rothfus, Edna and Wesley Allbery; and her nephews, Randy Allbery and Dennis Rothfus.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Van Manen (Kevin) of Kellogg and Mary Barnett (Kelly) of Newton; her grandchildren, Jacob Van Manen (Kate) and Emily Larson (Braden); and her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Karter Van Manen, Isabella and Anastasia Larson. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, IFYE's friends, and many other wonderful neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials to Jasper County 4-H or Newton Village may be left at the funeral home.
