He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Ronald Klopping of Newton, Richard Klopping of Des Moines, Cheryl Patton (Tom) and Carol Atkinson (Mark); and his grandchildren, Darin Patton, Laura Patton, Katherine Reiss, Madeline Minnick and Patrick Minnick.
