Vernyse Ruth Chapman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernyse Ruth Chapman (Newton, Iowa), who passed away on October 1, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil James and Velma Rawlins (Serber); her husband Bud; and her sister Naomi Petrie. She is survived by: her daughters, Carlene Lutz (Paul) of Knoxville and Lessa Davis (Terry) of Haverhill; her grandchildren, Jessica Bishop, Jacob Lutz and Jennifer McRoberts; her daughters, Nicole Davis and Rilie Davis; and her brothers, Vester Rawlins (Patty) and Vernon Rawlins (Christina).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Vernyse's family, or to a charity of your choosing.
