He was predeceased by: his parents, Vergal Marvin and Arcadia Rae Briggs (McIntire); his granddaughter Ashlee; and his sister Joanna. He is survived by: his children, Tonia Morrill (Briggs), Jacob Briggs (Nedra) and Bruce C. Briggs (Julie); and his siblings, Boice Briggs, Nina, Twylla and Janetta. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren; his eight great-grandchildren.
