He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jessen (Pulis); his children, Kristin Collum (Jeff) and Blake Jessen (Julie) of Elkhorn, NE; and his grandchildren, Layne, Ryleigh Collum, Lieutenant John Jessen, Luke Jessen and Kate Jessen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, MercyOne Newton, Newton YMCA, HA Lynn Stadium, or the family's choice.
