It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Lee Etter of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Timothy Lee Etter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Minnie Loo Etter (Swanson); his wife Dianna Johnson; and his brothers, Steve, Jim and Bill Etter.
He is survived by: his daughter Erin Sommar (Sean) of Newton; his grandchildren, Ben Sommar and Trinity Sommar; his great grandchildren, Roni, Elijah, Goderic and Leona; his brother Robert "Bobby" Etter (Becky) of Newton; and his sister-in-law Delinda Etter.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539).
In lieu of flowers, memorial in Tim's name (checks made payable to Erin Sommar) may be left at the funeral home.
