He is survived by: his wife Judy Ogier of Newton; his children, Bill Ogier (Victoria) of Ankeny and Debbie Hackathorn (Todd) of Newton; his grandchildren, Stella, Norah Ogier, Brittany Hoogeveen (Mike) and Bailey Konz (Nathan); and his great grandchildren, Brody, Brielle and Maelyn.

Memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, National Kidney Foundation, or Newton Fire Department can be left at the church on the day of the service or at the funeral home.
